January 3, 2018
Dear CSA Friends and Family,
It has been my pleasure to serve Concord-St. Andrews, and to get to know you over the past several years. We have celebrated, grieved, served, studied, and played together. You have invited Terry and I to be a part of your lives, and as a result have blessed us greatly. You truly are our church home.
Ecclesiastes 3 states that, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” It is time for a new season in Terry and my lives. Beginning July 1, 2018, we will both be retiring.
In April, we will be making a trip to San Antonio TX to hunt for our retirement home. As you may know, my brother and one of our daughters live in San Antonio and we are looking forward to being able to spend more time with family. Terry of course will continue playing guitar, I will be pursuing hobbies and looking for other ways to serve, and we hope to do some traveling.
Thank you for your warmth, kindness, and wonderful spirits.
We will be keeping you in prayer, please keep Terry and I in prayer as we begin this new chapter in our lives.
