CSA Winter Weather Policy

Dear Friends of Concord-St. Andrew’s,

Concord-St. Andrew's follows the MCPS (Montgomery County Public Schools) decisions about weather closings during the work week.  On weekends, the decision to close the building will be announced on WTOP radio.

If the weather is inclement, please be advised that there is no guarantee that the parking lot will be plowed prior to your regularly scheduled meetings.  In general, the lot is plowed at the conclusion of a snow storm.  Please understand that we make every reasonable effort to clear the sidewalks and parking lot, but there may be times when the lot is hazardous.  Please use your good judgment and caution for your safety and the safety of those in your group.

Concord-St. Andrews understands that the evening AA groups will wish to continue to meet, regardless of weather. You are, of course, welcome to use the building, however, please use the utmost of caution and care in your winter travel as we wish for everyone to be safe and sound.  A bucket of salt has already been placed at the outside door to the office (mailbox door) in the event surfaces are slippery.

CSA Church rarely cancels worship.  However, if weather is severe, we may cancel or postpone services on a particular Sunday.  Any cancellation will be posted via WTOP radio.
