When Disaster Strikes: Flood Buckets

Every year, people across the United States are affected by devastating storms and other disasters that result in flooding. The United Methodist Committee on Relief’s (UMCOR) mission is to help people affected by natural and human caused disasters.

UMCOR helps flood victims in the United States begin the overwhelming task of cleaning up after a disaster. Concord-St. Andrew's UMC, through our Missions and Outreach Committee, is committed to doing our part to help our flood-impacted neighbors, and you can help, too.

CSA is collecting supplies to fill 40 flood buckets until Sunday, November 24. The buckets will be delivered to our local UMCOR Relief Supply Warehouse. You can drop off supplies at CSA or donate toward the purchase of supplies for the effort. See the list below for guidance on what each kit contains. The estimated value of each kit is $75 and every donation counts. If you would like to make a financial donation, please make your check payable to Concord-St. Andrew's UMC and write FLOOD BUCKETS in the memo. 100% of your donation will go toward providing kits to flood victims.

If you have questions about the project, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
