Our congregation serves others in all the ways we can.
Lon’s House
We support a permanent supportive housing facility in our area by providing a full meal every third Thursday of the month.
Bethesda Prep Preschool
We work in partnership with Bethesda Prep Preschool, a faith-based preschool, as they call our space home.
Mission and Outreach
Each season, we support our wider community with a variety of ministries, including our Christmas Angel Tree gift-giving effort and our School Supplies Drive. For more information, check out the latest E‑Steeple, our weekly email newsletter.
Scouts
CSA has been a longtime supporter of several Scout troops, which currently include Troop 233, Troop 4, and Pack 465. Scouts meet on-site throughout the school year.
Alcoholics Anonymous
AA is a spiritually inclined, community-based recovery model for those living with alcoholism. The Glen Echo Group meets on Tuesdays and Fridays 6PM – 8PM, and Haven at Last meets on Thursdays 6:30PM – 9PM.
Wednesday Farmers Market
Twin Springs Fruit Farm is on site every Wednesday in our lower parking lot with fresh produce. The farmers market runs from 9AM to 1PM, and also includes Simply Delicious Desserts and Pro-Fish.
Your Generosity Builds our Future
All gifts to "General Operating" go towards our mission and ministries at CSA, and all gifts to "Karura Ka Nyungu" go towards our longtime funding of a primary school in Kenya.
